Is it fair to say there are some people we
get along with great, while others we’d
like to throat punch (don’t do that, it’s
illegal in most states)?
This seems to be a common challenge
for many companies and the in-fighting
often leads to bitter acrimony. Trust and
accountability to results are often the
victims.
The truth is people are different. We
communicate, behave, and respond to
situations differently.
“Can’t we all just get along” is a noble
line, but likely changes nothing. Employ-
ees don’t need to be lectured, they need
to understand behavioral differences.
Like I said, a throat punch is illegal.

SO What Gives?
Understanding humans could be the turning
point.
What if we better understood how to com-
municate with one another?
How to relate, build trust, and speak each
other’s language?
Would it make life/work easier? Would it po-
tentially increase revenue?
It’s estimated that “people problems” cost
American companies over $359 billion each
year. What could it mean for your company?
What Happens Now?
Hmm, I’m not sure about that one. The way
I see it there are potentially a few options.
#1 If what you read resonates, perhaps we
set a time to chat in person or on the
phone to see if what I do fits with what your
team needs.
#2 You use this paper to create a paper
airplane and hit your cubicle neighbor in
the head (warning: throat punching could
ensue)
