My research focuses are diverse, but my primary interest is in identity and how it impacts individuals' choices, as well as how it is shaped by and expressed in environments (either in-person or online). A lot of my work looks as STEM identity and how it impacts retention and performance, but I've also looked at identity and creative writing and identity and online communities.
