Rachel Hayward opened Hayward Dance Academy in Warrington, Cheshire after a career in ballet and theatre. The academy moved in 2014 to a purpose-built facility and added a second studio in 2020 to accommodate growing student numbers. Rachel and her team of professionals provide high-quality instruction in ballet, barre fitness, and other performing arts classes for children and adults. The academy aims to help students grow in confidence and skill through its curriculum and guidance.

AND THEATRE, RACHEL HAYWARD RETURNED HOME AND WAS
GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO OPEN HAYWARD DANCE ACADEMY IN
WARRINGTON, CHESHIRE.
In 2014 Rachel moved the academy to the heart of Warrington into a
purpose built facility with a fully equipped studio, reception and changing
areas. Student numbers grew exponentially and in January 2020 a further
studio was built to accommodate the expanding curriculum of classes and
student numbers.
Rachel working alongside her team of industry professionals maintains the
academy’s standards of excellence. With her passionate leadership every
child’s journey is carefully guided by the H*P*A team and students are able
to enjoy success at all levels of training and development.

booked on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis using the booking button.
WHO ARE THESE CLASSES FOR?
These classes are suitable for men and women over 16 years old and dance
experience is immaterial. Maybe you took dance classes when you were younger,
maybe you have never danced and are now thinking about starting. No matter who
you are you can reap the benefits from Adult Ballet.
Ballet is great for endurance, improving stamina, balance and coordination, as well as
being an excellent, all in-one exercise, combining extensive stretches and
concentrated movement. Ballet improves flexibility and helps you maintain a healthy
weight, boosting memory and reducing stress.

4. Just like the Adult Ballet Class, these classes are run on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. Barre
classes (pronounced “bar”) are a combination of yoga, balletic movements and Pilates.
With exercises developed to lengthen, tone and shape the body.

These classes are suitable for men and women over 16 years old looking to strengthen
and sculpt their bodies and achieve a “dancer like” physique..
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Barre Fitness classes dramatically improve postural alignment and physical stamina in
addition to enhancements in mental and physical wellbeing.
With the using of hand weights, balance balls and the barre as support. The class
focusses on high density, low impact movements designed to strengthen your body in
ways few other workouts can.

5. ONE TO ONE
CLASSES
One – to – one classes will be tailor – made for your specific
goals either in dance or vocal tuition.
* You maybe require additional support with preparation for
auditions for full-time courses in the Dance or Musical Theatre or
Acting. We can ensure that you have all the skills you need to be
fully prepared for your auditions.
* You may wish to accelerate your learning and progress as you
want to make performing arts a career.
* Exam and Competition coaching available.
* You have always wanted to sing or dance but haven’t had the
confidence to join a group class. We can help! You can learn the
basics building your confidence and skills before you decide to
join a group session.

6. BALLET CLASS
Hayward Performing Arts offers ballet classes of the highest quality.
Students are taught the fundamentals of ballet and are given a
strong foundation of good technique by our fully qualified teachers.
Students’ progress is encouraged at their own pace and they are
supported throughout to develop both their physical and artist skills
and talents. Musicality and artistry are developed, and a student’s
creativity and imaginative thoughts are encouraged and built upon in
both group and individual settings. Students can progress through
the ISTD framework of grades and will they be rewarded for their
progress and development regularly. Examinations lead to
recognised qualifications so whether you begin classes for
enjoyment or are a more serious student everyone can benefit from
the acquisition of further qualifications and all the health benefits
associated with dance and regular exercise.
