Our services
Our recruiting experts work within one of our two divisions;
permanent hire; or contract recruitment services, and
as such their methodologies, skills and resources are
specific and dedicated to their service offering. Whilst we
believe the two businesses require different attributes and
capabilities, we do not favour one over the next and are
equally adept in both.
Permanent hire
As with all Hays consultants, those in Oil Gas perform
a complete 360-degree role. This means the consultant
you first speak with would be the one that interviews your
candidates and takes you through the entire recruiting
process and beyond. We do not believe in demarcating this
process between individuals, rather in continuity and the
value this adds to the relationship.
Each consultant specialises further in one of our three
operating teams; Upstream, Downstream and Project
Development. This further enhances our effectiveness and
sourcing abilities throughout the recruitment life cycle.
Contract supply
Much of our business comes from contract supply and as a
result we have the infrastructure to source, on-board, and
payroll professionals and skilled individuals in the industry.
From electronic timesheets and consolidated invoices to
‘meet and greet’, travel and medical arrangements, our
delivery team is engaged to take on the complex and varied
tasks of this service.
Our ‘contract consultants’ are trained to react quickly and
decisively to short-term hiring needs. This is supported by
their immediate access to candidates from our extensive

Partnership services
The Candidate Attraction Solutions department of Hays
supports the oil and gas business with innovative and
