3. Ephesians 1:3-5 NLT
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the
heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even
before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in
Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God
decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by
bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what
He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.
4. Ephesians 1:6-8 NLT
So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured
out on us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in
kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with
the blood of His Son and forgave our sins. He has
showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and
understanding.
6. John 1:12-13 NLT
But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave
the right to become children of God. They are reborn – not
with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan,
but a birth that comes from God.
8. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 NKJV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all things have become
new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to
Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the
ministry of reconciliation …
12. Romans 6:1-4 NLT
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can
show us more and more of His wonderful grace? Of
course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we
continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we
were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined Him in
His death? For we died and were buried with Christ by
baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by
the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live
new lives.
14. 2 Peter 1:3 NKJV
… as His divine power has given to us all things that
pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him
who called us by glory and virtue …
15. 1 Peter 2:24 NKJV
… who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree,
that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness –
by whose stripes you were healed.
16. 2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that
though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so
that you through his poverty might become rich.
17. 2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in
Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His
knowledge in every place.
19. 2 Peter 1:4 NKJV
… by which have been given to us exceedingly great and
precious promises, that through these you may be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
20. Romans 12:2 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let
God transform you into a new person by changing the way
you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you,
which is good and pleasing and perfect.
