 Bachelor of Industrial engineering at Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering.
 Diploma in Tool and Die Making (1995-99), 4 Year Program with 1 year Industrial Training

 Design & development of car body parts from design concept, Bench Marking, Master
Sections, packaging & Layouts. Cad engineering experience in catia, Nx – 1000+ hours
 Tooling Engineer in Stamping Dies and Welding Fixtures development, press tools and
moulds.
 In depth Knowledge in Manufacturing Technologies & Processes, FMEA,APQP & PPAP ,
problem solving tools and techniques, DA matrix etc.

Handled various design, cost reduction, life cycle management and other VAVE projects across
India and UK
Key project: Design & Development of Passenger & Cargo Van for Europe.
Product design engineer of BIW for Upper body System in the area of B pillar, Side Roof
system
Involvement in project from design concepts with responsibility for Benchmarking, Styling
feedback, Master sections & joineries development. Design of communication strategy for
variants. Involvement in all the processes & interactions related to product development cycle.
Design release for CAE, Manufacturing feasibility evaluation & countermeasures, BOM
preparations etc.
At TRW Automotive: Global sourcing of Steering and Suspension parts for TRW Automotive,
North America and Body Press parts for SEAT, Germany. ( Duration 1 Year )
Responsibilities: VAVE – Cost saving projects through Material change, Change in process,
Weight Reduction,Handling RFQs , Project proposals and handling Techno commercial
activities.Commodities handled – Automotive Linkage & Suspension parts ( Castings,
Forgings),Occupant safety Systems – Seatings.
Introduced Indian Suppliers to Overseas Clients and Converted RFQs in to Orders.
At Royal Enfield: Upgradation of existing Royal Enfield 350 cc thunderbird vehicle with
changes in vehicle parts to improve Asthetics and to solve field issues
Responsibilities: Contribute towards Product Design in terms of DFM, Part Development
capturing the design intent. FPC/Prize conclusion with Suppliers for Parts and Tooling, fixtures,
Gauges. Process design and Process flow Finalisation.Interacting with the Suppliers to fulfill
the Design requirements, Sample approvals and PPAP.Design validation at supplier end for
Press tools, Plastic moulds Jigs, Fixtures, welding Fixtures & Gauges.

engineering changes in dies.
