their development?
Stewardship:
• A sense of caring about, connection to,
and responsibility for the well-being of
our natural and human communities
Kinship:
• Recognizing that we are related to and
part of the natural systems that nourish
us all.
• Environmental education tends to be siloed
and focused on individual programs.
• As a community, we wanted to coordinate our
efforts to ensure that every child has access to
age appropriate stewardship experiences
throughout their development

runners to participate in an
1,800 km relay run along
southern Ontario between
Peterborough and Barrie,
Ontario. The Monarch Ultra
is also fundraising for Camp
Kawartha through the relay
run and Virtual 10km event.
