Dauphine Research Center in Islamic Economics and Finance (DARCIEF) is the first French non-profit organization specializing in
Islamic Economics and Finance, operating in English and French. It is closely linked and is supported by the Islamic finance executive
Master Program of Dauphine University a prestigious university which is one of the top ten universities in Europe (Equis accredited).

OBJECTIVES…
• Creating a framework in France for research in Islamic Economics and Finance
• Establishment of a platform for exchange, assistance and sharing of knowledge among its members from
complementary disciplines.
To achieve its objectives DARCIEF encourages young researchers to deepen their theoretical and empirical studies about current issues
in the development of the Islamic finance industry. Research and studies that will be then discussed in the context of bi-monthly
seminars in the university. Thus, innovative concepts on the study of Islamic finance, as a way to secure the social aspect of
finance will receive the full attention of DARCIEF.
