It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ha Eun Jung. Ms. Jung was
a UCSD College Tutor and Student Mentor in our high school English, middle school Math, and 4th
grade
classes. During this time, Ms. Jung was an immensely valuable asset to our O’Farrell academies. Each
day that she was in my class, Ms. Jung helped to motivate students, encourage them to complete their
work, and help realize that they can and will go to college.
I was incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Jung volunteer at our school. The students eagerly looked forward
to the days that she would come to help and saw her as a true role model on our campus. Ms. Jung told
me she loved the experience so much that she has decided to enter the field of education and become a
future teacher.
Ms. Jung’s duties as a College Tutor and Student Mentor in the classroom included: creating projects and
assessments to help further college and career awareness and achievement in students, tutoring students,
assisting in classroom activities and organization, and much more. Ms. Jung was always diligent and
showcased the utmost amount of professionalism with all of her duties. She also showcased her fluency in
Google Docs,Microsoft Excel and Word, and Website Management time and time again. Ms. Jung
always went above and beyond and she never hesitated to complete a task.
It is for these reasons and more that I highly recommend Ms. Jung for any position at your establishment.
She is enthusiastic, dedicated, and determined and has a deep care and concern for our students and their
success. Any school or business would be extremely fortunate to have her.
