3. Learning Goals:
Find out why employees must have their cell phones on them at all times,
when there is no need for them to have them. Ie: cashiers at the checkout
texting and checking out their Facebook status on their smart phones instead
of stocking shelves, cleaning their area or helping customers.
What impression does employees using cellphones on company time instead
of working on what they are supposed to do. (helping customers) give to the
general public.
Are the employees using apps that would increase their knowledge on
company products or are they using aps such as Twitter, Facebook and bbm
for personal use.
5. RECOMMENDATIONS
Design an ap that would be helpful for associates in selling
the products: i.e: aps for price inquiry product
availability and product recommendation.
Allow associates to utilize different social media formats
such as Twitter and Facebook to market the product and market
up coming sales on merchandise.
Design a policy that would ensure that associate is using the
cellphone in a productive manner such as having them use a
special company cellphone where management can track what aps
the employee is using and what they are using it for.
