2. Imagine design #1
Our materials are Cotten , newspaper and white cloth .
We need 3 units .
The advantage of this idea is they are not going to hurt
the environment and it will warm up a little faster .
The disadvantage of this idea is it will burn to much .

Out heat score is our solar oven maximum temperature
subtracted from the control oven 60°c-55°c=5.
Our time score is the number of minutes it took to cool
down witch was 3 minuets.
Our total impact was 6 points.
Our total score for the solar oven is 2 points

11. Improve for design #1
The score for our solar oven was 2 points .
The parts of our solar oven design that did not worked we'll were
cotton and cloth because it helped it heat faster.
The parts of our solar oven design that did not work well were the
news paper because it did not helped to heat it faster.
We are going to try to improve our heat ,time and impact score.
We will improve our heat ,time and impact score by using different
materials like dark cloth ,foam and cotton because it will help get a
high score.

19. Reflection
Our improved design did not work because our first design's
temperature went to 60°c and our improved design's temperature was
50°c.
The materials we changed were that we took out the cloth and the
newspaper and the cloth was replaced by cotton and the newspaper
was replaced by foam.
The materials were poor insulators because it did not warm up the
oven that quickly which means the cotton was a poor insulator
because it is thin.
If we were to improve we would take out the cotton because when we
put more of it it did not heat up as fast or good like last time because
cotton is thin and so that's why it did not heat of fast and good.
