2. Abstract
In the spring of 2010 the women’s volleyball team
of Tiffin University took a trip to Italy. Many cities
were visited such as: Como, Florence, Milan, Pisa,
Siena, Venice, and Verona. The difference in culture,
including how the game of volleyball is played, will be
discussed. One cultural difference that will be
explored is “Women’s Day”, which is celebrated
monthly. Additionally, the reaction to Americans from
the Italians will be discussed.

According to the head Chef, this is a popular meal that is served daily: asparagus wrapped in ham, tomato topped with melted mozzarella, and grilled chicken breast. Bruschetta: grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with extra-virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, and typically topped with tomato or other vegetables. An individual pizza is this big apparently!
