4. H2O Environmental and OSRO Services
What makes our services unique and valuable?
We have invested in new technology and improved existing boom
deployment strategies.
• Boom Vane
• Drone / UAS
• Winch Technology
• Extreme Shallow Water Boat
• Watergate
• Swift Water Boom and Superior Deployment Strategies
8. Boom Vane
• Allows H2O Crews to deploy boom in large rivers (Snake River, Green
River, Colorado River, Columbia River) with an 8 man team and
extreme shallow water boat.
• Can be launched from shore when currents are suitable.
• Our strategy calls for using multiple boom vanes to stop the
downward progression of oil on large rivers.
10. Capabilities of the NEO
• Thermal Camera (SCAT Assessments)
• Environmental due diligence
• Litigation support
• 20 pounds lifting capability (1000 feet of polypropylene rope)
• Take Cameras where people cant go
• 3D Modeling
• 30 min flight time
• Drone Deploy Software that allows GCP use
• Site Documentation
• Hazard Identification
• Bad Weather capability (Rain, 45 MPH Wind, Snow, Cold Weather, Heat)
• Transmission of data to mobile screens in the field to get more experts a real-time view
• Volume Mapping and Measurements
• Zoom camera (18X Camera)
11. The Neo and Drone Technology
• Quickly capture data that shows the environment prior to environmental
impact. This helps reduce costs at the end of the spill cleanup. H2O can
also quickly track progress
• Allows us to make grounded assessments about deploying boom closer to
the release which can save our clients millions of dollars by moving up river
from the first boom site.
• Allows us to quickly rig the boom sites so we can deploy boom more
rapidly than old boom deployment strategies
• Thermal Camera allows H2O to make assessments about leading edge of
oil in spill situations and helps with wildlife surveys.
13. Winch Technology
• Winch Technology allows us to reduce the size of our crew
• Winch Technology provides 1000lbs of pull
• Multiple batteries allow long operational periods
• Light weight and portable
15. The Kingfisher Extreme Shallow Water
• The 23 foot jet boat operates in in 4 inches of water
• It will start in 8 inches of water
• Has a winch onboard that attaches to the front and rear that allows the
boat to go almost anywhere
• Winch is used in boom deployment strategies
• The Kingfisher can cross ropes and even hard booms when deployed giving
it unique capabilities for time savings.
17. Watergate
• Allows H2O Crews to set up underflow dams quickly and efficiently to
stop oil from passing downstream
• Used to create collection strategies in rivers and streams that are to
shallow to float hard boom
• Expandable to meet any need or depth
• Creates enough water to float skimmers so you can recover more
product
19. New Boom Deployment Strategy
• Our new strategy allows H2O Crews to:
• Be smaller in size - Less personnel on the water
• Deploy boom quicker than ever before
• Improve water safety
• This is all useful to deploying boom effectively and safely to save our
customers millions of dollars in environmental damages in real-time
events.
20. • It does not take long to run scenarios with water intakes, endangered
species, or protected wet lands to understand why time and effective
boom deployment strategies are so important. You must stop the
downward migration of oil and establish a clean zone to reduce costs.
• H2O Environmental developed strategies to use less human resources for
boom deployments because we never seem to have enough human
resources. It only made sense to improve existing strategies with
technology and tools so we can deploy effective boom sites to protect the
environment with less people.
• We can also help our customers pass exercises and GIUE’s by deploying
effective hard boom with their crews. This saves time, energy and money
for facilities and pipelines. No crew is to small to be effective and pass
exercises.
