This subject matter equips prospective teachers with pedagogical content knowledge for the teaching of basic content in teaching mathematics in the primary level, specifically in Grade 3. Understanding of key concepts and skills. Teaching Strategies for students with special needs guided by the teachers in teaching the appropriate instructional materials and appropriate technology, and inquiry based learning for them with the use of manipulatives based on cultural context will be emphasized. Many children, especially those with special needs, will benefit from learning how their newly developed skills with math and problem solving will help them in real-life situations.
