Introduction
The goals of child protection programming are to promote a social environment that protects all

and to ensure the protection, recovery and reintegration of children who have been exposed to

In Ada’a Bega woreda due to conflict IDPs and host communities faced psychological problems.
This psychological problem impairs their day-to-day life because they do not get out of the
trouble they faced. They feel stressed; get loss of hope and uncertainty for their tomorrow. In this
regard, Psychological First Aid (PFA) is at the core of helping others to feel better. Supporting
the emotional well-being of others during this challenging time is important.

and abuse in various parts, Community Volunteers are essential to mobilize community
responses, deliver Psychological First Aid (PFA), enhance referrals, raise awareness on child
rights, and ensure communities take part in creating a protective environment for children.
Helping people connect with other family and community members, or helping them deals more
effectively with personal challenges.
