Introduction What is the aim of this research? To compare the postoperative` analgesic`` effects of electroacupuncture, morhine and sham acupuncture in dogs undergoing mastectomy``` Electroacupuncture Morphine Sham acupuncture `Postoperative - the period following a surgical operation ``Analgesic - pain reliefing ``` Mastectomy – surgical removal of all or part of the breast

[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],`Acepromazin – drug, pre-anesthetic medication In “morphine” group, morphine was simultaneously administrated with acepromazine. In “electroacupuncture” group, electroacupuncture was applied 20 min before and was maintained throughout surgery. “ Sham-acupuncture” group received similar treatment to “electroacupuncture” group, but the needles were without electrical stimulation.
