2. Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it directly into the computer’s memory card reader.
If the memory card requires a USB attachment, connect the card to the attachment and insert it directly into
the computer’s USB drive. When the computer recognizes the memory card, a window will open requesting
further action. This is where photos can be imported, viewed, or opened in the program of your choice.
2. Save Photos Onto Your Computer
The computer may automatically create a dated folder in My Pictures folder and import the photos into it.
Afterwards, the computer may also ask if you want to delete the photos from the memory card. Deleting
photos from the memory card creates space for more pictures; however, be sure the photos have been
imported to the computer before deleting them.
1. Click the Start Menu.
2. Click Computer.
3. Click the drive where the memory card is located (usually marked Removable in the drive name).
4. Select the photos from the memory card window and copy them.

the photos will only be in Pictures folder.

the computer and one copy on an external device)
Get out there and Shoot, Shoot, Shoot! Don’t be afraid to try different angles, different lighting, different
camera settings. There’s no cost in taking a few extra photos and you’ll be amazed at what you will discover
when you get back to your computer.
