4. What is an ESA? An assessment of real property. Accordance with provincial regulations, CSA Standard Z768-01 & Z769-00. Supervised by a "Qualified Person" (QP) with no interest* in the property. An ESA seeks to determine: 1. "Likelihood" of contamination on, in or under the property. 2. If necessary, identify "Location and Concentration" of contaminants. Can be a Multi-Stage Process. *new rule for July 2011.
