settlement.
Nowadays is becoming the main environment we
experience, spending most of our lives on them.
Population growth and industrial development
create a series of problems:

The concept of the city is evolving into a “Global”
center for trade, finance, innovation and markets.
This evolution is triggered by the technology and
cultural movements in our society.
6. Energy & Transportation
Green is the key!
The integration of the city back into the
nature is a movement that we are already
experiencing. The inclusion of open spaces
as the city grow is fundamental for the
health of the city itself and its inhabitants.
A emission free, quiet and efficient
transportation network is a must in
the future cities.
Finally a renewable energy system
that give independence is necessary
to assure the city’s life.

Sustainable
Is the key of a controlled growth. The expansion of a city
should be organic, and in the process it should not become
overcrowded.
New high efficiency developments will continue to emerge and
substitute old structures with conventional heating and AC
systems.
Technology will keep evolving boosting connectivity and

The cities will be hubs of R&D facilities, leaving the old
