12. Don’t worry! From time to time, each of us plays more than just one Procrastinator role.
The important thing here is for you to identify yours and make sure that whenever it
gets into your way of getting the work done, you immediately get out of that role
and don’t let it win the battle.
Some Tips based on these behaviors:
• Are you getting lost into doing not important stuff?
• PRIORITIZE first, before starting any activity
• Are you being comfortable too much?
• Stop being LAZY, you can reward yourself after the work is done; one
thing you can do here to break the habit is to stop hitting the snooze button
• Are you spending too much time online?
• TURN OFF any sources of distraction for a while
• Are you following spot ideas instead of focusing on what’s urgent?
• WRITE THEM DOWN, so you won’t forget, but finish what’s urgent first

14. Golden Rules for Time Management
○ Being organized is a HABIT Nurture it and establish some
daily routines that work for you
○ Pay attention to which part of the day you are the most
PRODUCTIVE Are you an Early Bird or a Night Owl?
○ Set some realistic DEADLINES It increases motivation and
possibility to monitor & evaluate progress
○ Keep a healthy BALANCE between work and breaks Your
brain needs moments of stepping out & disconnect
○ Try to FINISH something when you start it, if possible The
more you break it down into pieces, the harder it will get
○ Set some fixed periods during the day when you don’t want
to be DISTURBED Let people know that’s your time and
you’ll be available after
○ Be SELECTIVE and learn how to say “No” Sometimes it gets
hard to refuse people, even when we know that we don’t
have the time, focus or resources necessary for the job
○ Give yourself some RECOGNITION as soon as you get the job
done Rewards and congrats will boost self-confidence

17. 1. Agendas & To Do Lists
Best friends of any well organized person I know
17
18. Agendas
Physical agendas,
electronical calendars,
post-its everywhere
on your desk.
Whatever you feel
most comfortable with
is fine, as long as you
use it for keeping
things in order,
reminding yourself of
your priorities.
It makes sense when
you think about it
To Do Lists
Isn’t it nice that feeling
when you get to
scratch over the
things you achieve?
If not for something
else, at least for that
amazing feeling, you
should definitely keep
To Do Lists

20. 3. The Pomodorro
Technique
Method developed by Francesco Cirillo back in the 1980s.
It basically uses a timer to break down work into intervals,
something like this:
○ 25 minutes of work on the task decided in advance
○ 3 to 5 minutes break
○ Repeat the cycle for 3-4 Pomodorros until you can take
a longer break (15-20 minutes) if the task is not yet
completed
Make sure nothing distracts you during these 25 minutes
work intervals.

something else of your preference and
decide which tasks you need to do first
3. Plan: Schedule your tasks according to
