DESIGN & METHODOLOGY
• Total design sample size was 1000 spread across 10 assembly constituencies.
• These were selected in discussion with the client
• 5 from North Goa (Mandrem, Bicholim, Calangute, Panajim, Poriem)
• 5 from South Goa (Ponda, Vasco, Curtorim, Benaulim, Curchorem)
• To ensure that our sample was adequately spread - in each assembly constituency, 10
electoral parts were selected as starting points, and at each starting point, 10 interviews
were conducted with skipping pattern of 3 households after every successful interview.
• Only those 18+ years old and eligible to vote were selected
• To ensure a demographic representation we maintained soft quotas of Gender, Age group,
Religion, NCCS (New Consumer Classification ).
• Sample size achieved was weighted using the IRS Universe of 18+ years population.
