Building Followers on Glassdoor Using New Company Updates!

  1. According to a recent poll of 1000 TA professionals conducted by mediabistro 73% say they have successfully hired through their social media channels
  2. Company updates is a new social feature that allows employers to post updates on Glassdoor. Posts can be up to 600 characters and include photos and links. Job seekers researching a company will see these updates when they visit your profile and can also choose to follow companies they’re interested in. This provides the job seekers with a weekly email on companies activity and helps employers build a community of job seekers interested in working for them.
  3. Employers can login and post updates through the new Updates tab in the Employer Center Companies posting frequently will have their updates featured in a prominent position on their company overview page and follower emails. Job seekers will be able to click on links in the posting and have the ability to tag a post as “Helpful”. Analytics within the Employer Center will allow employers to measure how many candidates engaged with their posts, how they engaged, and what other companies they’re following. Hootsuite users will be able to download a free app that allows them to post a Glassdoor Company Update via the Hootsuite application
