2. Growth &
Innovation
In 2015, PET Power was taken over by the RPC Group and became
part of the M&H division. The RPC Group specialises in packaging
companies. Listed on the London Stock Exchange, apart from the
M&H division, the group also includes companies such as RPC
Superfos, Global Closure Systems, RPC Ace and RPC Bebo.
RPC is a cash-rich group that offers the group’s subsidiaries an
extensive degree of autonomy. PET Power is the RPC Group’s
specialist in PET packaging. RPC and its extensive network give us
the opportunity to tap into and grow new markets, and to invest even
more in innovation.

PET Power
We develop specific models efficiently and quickly that are perfectly tailored
to your wishes. Apart from specific shapes and colours, plastic materials other
than PET are also an option, such as HDPE, PP and various co-polyesters. We have
matching caps and closures for every bottle or jar and use screen printing, sleeves and
labels to decorate the bottles and jars.
We are aware that your customers are setting increasing demands on issues such as
flexibility, which is why we offer 24/7 production, a range of packaging types, and deliveries
of series in different quantities. Our main production facility is located at Etten-Leur where
more than 260 enthusiastic people work daily on the development and production of
high-quality packaging. They are continually improving the quality of processes and
products using methods such as Lean and Six Sigma.
In 2015, PET Power was awarded the BRC certificate of guaranteed quality in the food
industry. In addition to the general ISO 9001 quality mark, we also have a 1,200 m2
controlled production environment (class 7 clean room).

3. Strategy
PET Power focuses strongly on Customer Intimacy,
entirely in line with our Packaging Your Brand slogan.
At the same time, PET Power is also focused on
continuing innovation and efficient implementation in
production. PET Power ensures balance which makes
the customer the centre of attention. PET Power strives
for healthy growth, which we achieve together with our
business partners.
Vision
PET Power is Europe’s number one innovative leader
in rigid plastic packaging solutions. We use our
packaging to make your product, your brand and
your company shine. We brainstorm with you on the
right shape of packaging, the best caps and closures
and the perfect decoration.

relationships by delivering genuine added value in
the shape of our employees’ expertise and customer
focus, through innovation and sustainability and by
offering high-quality plastic products.
Mission
4. Sustainable
& Social
Responsibility
Sustainability is in PET Power’s DNA. It is basic to how we
think and act. Control of our own energy consumption is one
area in particular where improvements are constantly being
made. PET Power also works with BioPET and PCR plastic
material (Post-Consumer Recycled PET). The entire organisation
is always on the lookout for ways to make our organisation,
processes and procedures more sustainable. We reward
employees who propose improvements in sustainability,
and we choose our suppliers based on sustainability
criteria. Customers can count on a sustainable
PET Power happily sharing advantages and
examples with business partners.
Just like any other company, PET Power is not an island. We are
aware of our societal and social responsibilities at local, national
and international levels. That’s why PET Power has supported two
charitable causes for many years. The first is the Plastic Whale
initiative, which fits in perfectly with our thoughts on sustainability.
This organisation shows that as an individual you can really make
a difference to improving the environment. Plastic Whale focuses
on solving the problem of the plastic soup in our waters under the
inspiring leadership of founder Marius Smit. More information about
this initiative can be found at www.plasticwhale.com.
PET Power is also very keen on the Stichting Duchenne Heroes
foundation. This foundation raises money for research into the children’s
disease Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a rare illness that
occurs mainly in boys and causes muscle problems. Unfortunately, there
is still very little known about the cause, and the life expectancy of these
children is much too low. If you would like more information about this
initiative, go to: www.duchenne.nl or www.duchenneheroes.nl.
5. PET bottles
in production
The largest portion of PET Power production uses the ISBM
technology. ISBM stands for Injection Stretch Blow Moulding.
First, a basic shape (pre-form) is made from liquid, molten,
plastic granulate. This shape is then stretched and blown
into the final form. In order to accommodate this Injection-
Stretch-Blow technology, PET Power has fitted several
machine platforms with both ‘single-stage’ and ‘two-stage’
technology. For the single-stage process, the production is
done on one machine: from granulate to bottle or jar. With
the two-stage technology, two machines are deployed: one
for the basic shape and a second machine for the final shape.
The combination of different machine platforms and the ISBM
technology makes PET Power the perfect partner for both
smaller and larger production series.

Markets
Health care
Quality, reliability and precision are paramount for us. PET Power
has a 1,200 m2
class 7 cleanroom. All products are packed according
to the critical requirements of this market. Europe’s largest sterility
centre where we irradiate our products on request is located close
to PET Power.
Food
PET packaging for foodstuffs needs to have properties such as
ease of use, squeezability and being unbreakable in the kitchen.
In addition, light weight and sustainability are important. PET also
offers the optimum replacement to glass packaging from which all
major European Retailers are keen to move away from.
Home
PET Power is developing packaging for cleaning products, cleaning
agents and pesticides, ranging from large to small. You can also
come to us for the packaging of toys, lamp oil and many other
household applications.
personal care
Design and innovation are two areas where our designers
frequently surprise personal care customers. Standard
families give our customers the opportunity to present
product families. Furthermore, we deliver the appropriate
products in all colours in our large standard product range.
Suitable packaging for everyone
PET Power was already making packaging for more than one
thousand companies in industries, including the pharmaceutical,
cosmetic and foodstuff industries. We supply customers with high-
quality, safe, functional and eye-catching bottles and jars, including
matching caps/closures and decoration. As well as the sectors
mentioned, PET Power is developing packaging solutions for toys and
for chemical and household items. Are you looking for packaging for
other applications? Please contact us to discuss the options.

and flexibly, no matter how large your
order. In addition to logistics, we can also
offer you support in design, laboratory
tests, and much more. You need concern
yourself only with the best possible launch
for your product.
Customised work
Differentiating yourself is also possible with a shape that’s entirely
your own. If you choose completely your own design, our designers
will brainstorm with you about every detail: from shape to colour to
decoration. Together we will select the best plastic material with
a view to the desired appearance, processing of the material and
sustainability, and legal rules and regulations. PET Power also has
3D printers to give you an immediate real feel of your chosen packaging
from a sample.
Another possibility: dishwasher-proof plastic
PET Power is also a specialist in processing other materials using
the ISBM production process. These materials include: Tritan®
,
a strong, clear plastic material that is resistant to high temperatures
and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. PET Power uses Tritan®
for
specific household items such as glasses, decanters and water
bottles. An extra advantage of Tritan®
is its high level of chemical
resistance and the possibility of incorporating sharp angles. PET
Power can easily offer you premium products for special occasions
or events.
