Rhea is a group of professionals working at international level in design and construction of green systems for wastewater treatment and energy production from renewable sources.
In the Greek Mythology, Rhea (in ancient greek Ῥέα) is a Titanide, daughter of Uranus and Gaea: the primal goddess, the divine power of the Earth.
"We use gentle technologies to protect the planet and improve people's lives"
In this presentation we describe the technology, phytoremediation, we use to clean the wastewater of our clients.
1. We use gentle technologies to
protect the planet and improve
people’s lives.
2. In one team:
Technical and Business experience,
design and management of the
construction site, innovation.
The team counts with 152
phytoremediation plants built and 479
designed, all over the world.

10. CIVIL BUILDINGS AND URBAN AREAS
BREEDING FARMS
PARLOURS
CHEESE FACTORIES
INDUSTRIES PROCESSING PLANTS PRODUCTS: WINE, OIL, ETC.
INDUSTRIES THAT PRODUCE LIQUID WASTE:
Galvanic and hydrocarbons, spinning mills, etc.
PHYTOREMEDIATION – Wetlands
It's perfect for:
11. PHYTOREMEDIATION
Is it possible to recover the purified water?
Thanks to this technology, it is possible to recover the wastewater; after treating it
inside the phytoremediation system, water can be reused as non-potable water for
domestic use (for example the toilet) or to irrigate crops.
12. FLOATING SYSTEMS (Patented by DAVIDE TOCCHETTO)

Restoration of river and lake
ecosystems:
15. Implementation of a phytoremediation system in a farm of pigs (600 units),
in the province of Bolivar, Ecuador.
The system has a dimension of 400 m2, and is composed by: 2 pools of
sedimentation (primary and secondary), 1 pond that houses the filter, 3
pools of phytoremediation.

Examples – Ecuador
17. Implementation of a phytoremediation mixed system
(horizontal - vertical flow) in a barn in Japan.
This type of system is also efficient in the autumn and
winter seasons.

Examples – Japan
18. Phytoremediation system serving 32,000 people. 6400
m3 of wastewater treated per day, coming from urban
areas: the water that comes out is reused for irrigation
of golf courses.

Examples – Portugal
19. Santa Vittoria cheese factory, in Carpaneto Vicentino (PC)
Phytoremediation plant to treat wastewaters from a
cheese factory. The factory processes 23,000 tons of milk
each year (more than 60,000 liters each day), for the
production of the traditional Grana Padano cheese.
