PUC Parking Standardization Bill
1. The PUC Parking Standardization Bill
Whereas:
The state of PUC’s parking system is in need of an update with regards to the parking
zone signs as well as a clarification for students to know where the specific parking areas
are.
Therefore, let it be proposed that:
New Parking Signs
SA Senate appropriate $240.00 for the purchase and creation of 6 new parking signs to be
installed in the area between Irwin Hall and Graf Hall. Increased visibility is hope to
reduce any confusion among students.
PUC Parking Map App
In the PUC App let it be proposed that under the section, “Maps” that a PUC Parking
Map be added specifically for students and faculty. To show where the different parking
areas are, such as G, L, C, R, W, and A with colored bordering to better distinguish the
parking zones.
Repaint Newton Parking Lot Lines
Facilities Management will be commencing work during summer of 2016 pertaining to
the repainting of the two Newton Parking spots that blocked access to the lot.
Specifically, 2 parking spots that used to block entire Newton parking lot will be changed
to compact only to reduce any blockage in the lot.
