Subject: Letter of Reference for George Simon
Dear Sir or Madame,
I most strongly recommend George Simon for the most challenging positions in your
organization.
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Simon in my Quality Management and Performance
Class at the University of Idaho. The class featured a demanding individual and a team/project
component. Mr. Simon’s individual work was exceptional but what separated him from the
other students was his performance on the team project.
George’s team worked with other student teams to evaluate a cutting edge data base management
program from a private company. The project was somewhat ambiguous but George and his
team developed a series of tests to help determine the customer usability of this software. His
role was to develop the test, record and analyze data from the test and finally develop
recommendations on how to make the software user friendly.
To say that his work was successful is an understatement. The president of the company took
George’s recommendations to their Board of Directors and will incorporate many of the ideas.
None of this would have happened without George’s enthusiasm, expertise, attention to detail
and leadership.
George Simon is an exceptional candidate who will help move your organization forward while
fostering teamwork and esprit de corps.
