17. Brainbench Personality Assessment - Evaluation Report
PERSONALITY EVALUATION
Your Social Boldness: Introverted VS Extraverted
You are quite extraverted. Wow! That one word truly describes your personality! Your friendly and
gregarious nature draws people to you. People love to be around you. And who wouldn't? You are the life
of the party, or for that matter, in any setting in which you are the center of attention. You are usually
the one who will engage or initiate a group in fun-filled conversation. You tend to enjoy public speaking,
and feed off the energy of the crowd. You are a natural born leader who likes to take charge and is very
effective at leading and directing others. You are lively and spontaneous and do not let negative words
from others bother you. You tend to be assertive, but your happy personality allows others to interpret
your social boldness as enthusiasm. You tend to seek thrills and excitement out of life - no couch sitting
for you. You can be found wherever the action is. It is definitely fun to be you!
Your Agreeableness: Candid VS Considerate
You are very considerate. You are a popular person, aren't you? Of course you are. You truly value
harmony in dealing with others. People recognize your friendly, generous, and helpful personality. Your
easy-going, agreeable nature makes you such a joy to be around. This is especially true in meetings or
general conversations. The topic may become heated, but you are considerate of other's feelings and you
will find a happy medium in order to placate those around you. This is because you have an optimistic
view of human nature and you realize that if you trust people with their decisions that they are not trying
to hurt you or take advantage of you. This special and rare quality is also seen in your altruism. You
enjoy helping others. To you it is not a sacrifice; to you it is fulfilling to help others in need.
Your Self-Control: Impulsive VS Cautious
You are very impulsive. You are an independent thinker. You do not need a book of rules to tell you how
to behave - you know inside what is right and what is wrong and you act accordingly. You are able to live
life spontaneously, because you are able to make decisions without endless deliberation. In fact, when
you and another person are making a decision, you are able to reach a solution fairly quickly while the
other person has to cautiously plan every step. Eventually, they will agree with you, which is frustrating
when your first impulse is usually the correct one in the decision-making process. You tend to be a little
more casual, and you do not feel out of sorts when your home or office is not perfectly neat. In general,
your life is pleasurable - you know how to have fun and will never be accused of being staid or stuffy.
Your Anxiety Level: Excitable VS Relaxed
You are moderately relaxed. You do not dwell on how others think of you. You are confident and poised in
social situations, you do not think that everyone is staring at you and dwelling on your imperfections. You
are able to stay focused in pressure-filled circumstances, and you are especially good at thinking clearly
in stressful situations. You rarely get angry. If you do, it passes quickly and you are able to move forward
without feeling negative emotions. In general, you are easy-going, confident, and secure. This is
especially helpful in frustrating situations where others are not as tranquil. You have no problem coping
with stress. You may feel the stress, but you deal with it very well. You tend to not be a jealous person,
which makes you very easy to deal with at work and in personal relationships. People can count on you
18. not to be emotionally irrational.
Your Openness to Change: Practical VS Imaginative
You are moderately imaginative. You are willing to try new things - and you are good at it! Your
creativity, openness to new experiences, and broadmindedness allow you to proceed into the unknown
with confidence. You enjoy your individuality. You do not want to be one of the masses. Your tendency to
be nonconforming - in a good way - ensures that you will never be considered average. Utilizing your
brain is important to you. This is evident in the activities you seek. You are able to tune into your feelings
and are able to accurately express how you are thinking and feeling. You appreciate beauty, whether it is
in art or nature, and you like to be aesthetically engaged. You tend to be more liberal-minded and able to
think on a broader scale.
The way you Think/Reason: Concrete VS Abstract
You are very abstract in your thinking. You tend to be quick to grasp ideas, are a fast learner and
intelligent. You possess a hallmark of intelligence that potentially separates human beings from earlier
life forms, the ability to think about future consequences before acting on an impulse. Your reasoning
activity involves contemplation of long-range goals, organizing and planning routes to these goals, and
persisting toward one's goals in the face of short-lived impulses to the contrary. You also have keen
interests in intellectual matters and love to play with ideas and think theoretically. You tend to be
open-minded to new and unusual ideas, and like to debate intellectual issues. You often enjoy riddles,
puzzles, and brainteasers.

Children running amok!
by Katy Burns
House has turned into a kindergarten
Litchfield's George Lambert, one of the hundred or so newbies in the New Hampshire House of
Representatives, is mad. Really mad. It seems that the state Senate has been less than kind to some of the
legislation that was gaveled through the House.
In a shocking display of independent thinking, a majority of the senators pretty overwhelmingly Republican,
just like the House members decided to table or send to study a series of measures, many aimed at
restricting contraception and/or abortion. In legislativespeak, "table" and "study" are usually nice ways of
saying "kill."
Lawmaker: Stop prosecution for victimless crime
by Annmarie Timmins
Law enforcement says idea not safe
A Litchfield Republican who favors a literal reading of the state Constitution asked lawmakers yesterday to
follow the document and let up on victimless crimes like consensual prostitution and speeding on empty
roadways.
Those acts along with drug use and drug sales have no victim, according to Rep. George Lambert, and
should not be so easily prosecuted. He pitched a bill to the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety
Committee yesterday that would require prosecutors to produce an actual victim at a trial.
Lambert said the Constitution demands as much when it says people who enter society give up some rights
to "ensure the protection of others." The "others" are victims, and without them, there is no crime, Lambert
said.
"My bill, very simply states, 'Show us the victim,' " he said.
Committee members had lots of questions but no obvious signs of enthusiasm for Lambert's bill.
Bill seeks to end sobriety checkpoints

For different reasons, a bill doing away with sobriety checkpoints in New Hampshire has the backing of both
constitutionally minded lawmakers and a D.C. trade group representing alcoholserving restaurants.
House Bill 1452 would eliminate the sobriety checkpoints organized by local police departments to catch
drunken drivers. A hearing on the bill is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in Room 204 of the Legislative
Office Building.
20. "My concern is we're giving up our right to travel freely," said Republican Rep. George Lambert of Litchfield,
a cosponsor of the bill. "It allows (the police) to do all kinds of investigations for which they did not have
original probable cause."
Bill would let some felons have guns
by Annmarie Timmins
Another would lift ban on firing in city
Lawmakers are considering two more bills that would loosen gun laws in the state. One would permit
nonviolent felons, like drug dealers, to have guns, and the other would lift a prohibition against firing
weapons within neighborhoods and city limits.
Other bills working their way through the Legislature would allow guns on school campuses and remove the
requirement that gun owners must have a license to carry a concealed weapon.
Current state law forbids all felons from having a gun unless they have their conviction annulled, which is
possible in five years for a Class B felony and 10 years for a Class A felony. Rep. Andrew Manuse, a Derry
Republican, wants to change the law to allow nonviolent felons to have guns upon completing their
sentence.
Unions occupy State House

New Hampshire's union workers descended on Concord yesterday to defend themselves from renewed
attempts by Republican lawmakers to strip their bargaining power.
The House Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services committee heard testimony on a full day of
unionweakening bills inside Representatives Hall, where firefighters, teachers and other public employees
filled the 400 floor seats after the crowd proved too large for a hearing room across the street.
Last year, the House's prolonged threat to override Gov. John Lynch's veto of a socalled righttowork bill,
which would have prevented unions from collecting partial dues from nonmembers, made union activists a
nearconstant presence at the State House. House Speaker Bill O'Brien, a Republican from Mont Vernon,
waited months as he sought the twothirds majority to override Lynch's veto before the bill was killed in
November.
Conservatives blast GOP platform
Some say language too vague, simple
By Ben Leubsdorf / Monitor staff
September 27, 2012
21. A number of Republican activists are complaining that the state party's proposed platform,
which is set to be adopted this weekend, is too vague and contains watereddown language
on abortion and other issues.
"I think the platform committee was trying to simplify things, and there's some things you can
simplify and others that are documents that need to be in detail. And this is one of those
documents that needs to be in detail," said Karen Testerman, a socialconservative activist
and former gubernatorial candidate from Franklin. "They did a lot of hard work . . . (but) it just
seems that it was oversimplified, and that is of major concern."
Both supporters and critics of the draft platform said they expect a debate Saturday at the
state party convention in Derry, where a final vote is planned.
"I think this will be a very entertaining, informative discussion for a lot of Republicans to
decide what the future of their party is," said Rep. George Lambert, a Litchfield Republican
who likes the draft platform.

… and speeding on empty roadways. Those acts along with drug use and drug sales have no victim, according to
Rep. George Lambert, and should not be so easily prosecuted. He pitched a bill to the House Criminal Justice and
Public Safety Committee yesterday that would require prosecutors to produce an actual victim at a trial. Lambert said
the Constitution demands as much when it says people who enter society give up some rights to "ensure the
protection of others." The "others" are victims, and without them, there is no crime, Lambert said. "My bill, very

Bill seeks to end sobriety checkpoints

… Thursday in Room 204 of the Legislative Office Building. "My concern is we're giving up our right to travel freely,"
said Republican Rep. George Lambert of Litchfield, a cosponsor of the bill. "It allows (the police) to do all kinds of
investigations for which they did not have original probable cause." Lambert and Rep. Seth Cohn of Canterbury, also
a freshman Republican, see the checkpoints as running counter to the Fourth Amendment's barring of unreasonable
search and seizures. Cohn said the checkpoints give law enforcement "carte blanche to stop people…(more »)
Preposterous argument on guns
Sun, 29 Jan 2012
… Letter Abby Tomich, Concord Re "Bill would let some felons have guns" (Monitor Local & State page, Jan. 25):
Rep. George Lambert is quoted as saying, "If I invite Martha Stewart to my house to give my wife a little lesson in
cooking and manners, she couldn't come (with a gun) because she's a felon." Mr. Lambert, I hope I am not the only
one wondering why it would be necessary for one coming into your home to give a cooking lesson to arm themselves.
This is one of the most ridiculous arguments in support of loosening gun restrictions that I have ever heard. ABBY
TOMICH Concord laws should make sense Martha is a convicted felon..fact. She cant legally own a gun..fact. Does it
make sense? You… (more »)

remember that New Hampshire forbids felons from other states from having guns even if a felony in one state is not a
felony offense in New Hampshire. He also offered the example of Martha Stewart, whose felony insider trading
conviction would prevent her from coming to New Hampshire with a gun. "If I invite Martha Stewart to my house to
give my wife a little lesson in cooking and manners, she couldn't come (with a gun) because she's a felon," Lambert

Violence bills raise concerns

… they don't witness a crime. The bill's cosponsor, Rep. George Lambert, a Republican from Litchfield, said his
intention was to strike a balance between liberty protections guaranteed in the state Constitution and police power.
"We need to make sure there is enough leeway so that police officers can use discretion to initiate justice," said
Lambert, who believes the warrant process does that. "But justice is supposed to protect all of the people." Lambert
is not convinced getting a warrant is overly onerous. If it is, the process should be simplified, he said. "We… (more »)

Wasting our money
Wed, 30 Nov 2011
… Letter Katherine D. Dawson, Tilton Here is a small sample of what the New Hampshire Legislature is
recommending to waste our tax dollars on rather than focus on the real issues. Do we really want New Hampshire to
become a place that enables more violence or increases access to lethal weapons? (A proposal by Rep. Dan
McGuire would eliminate the criminal history record and protective order checks for sale of firearms.) Or a toxic dump
site to pollute our nature resources? (A proposal by Rep. George Lambert would establish a committee to study the
economic benefits of processing, storing and recycling nuclear waste in New Hampshire.) The climate has been so
bad that lawmakers have submitted a proposal prohibiting bullying in the State House… (more »)
