Responsibilities:
January 2014 to Present I am responsible for the delivery of Planned and Reactive maintenance
work. Covering M & E, Security, Fabric, Auto doors, Compliance and project works within the CO-
OP contract covering Scotland, Highlands and Islands’, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. (750
Stores) Very similar as below I was put in to trouble shoot, within 8 months this contract was also
turned round to a very well run profitable contract. Managing 2 supervisors, 21 engineers, 3 lighting
teams, 3 helpdesk and 3 contract support all reporting direct to me.
August 2012 to January 2014 I was responsible for the delivery of Planned and Reactive
maintenance work. Covering M & E, Security, Fabric, Water Hygiene and project works within the
Marks and Spencer retail departments covering 58 stores within Scotland. Managing 14 engineers, 3
lighting teams, 1 helpdesk and 1 contract support all reporting direct to me.
I was put on this contract as a trouble shooter, as this contract was not running efficiently and
profitable due previously bad management and engineers efficiencies. Once I had implemented the
correct procedures and process for all to work from this was turned round within 6 months, to a
profitable, effective well run team. This had it casualties as 50% of the work force had changed for
the better. Marks and Spencer where very happy to see the uplift on productivity, the whole
attitude across the team was great in working as one team.
December 2010 to August 2012 I was responsible for the delivery of M & E, Security and project
works within the Lloyds Banking Group on the Retail Branches throughout the West of Scotland, as
the Customer base is Retail and Public facing the emphasis is on visual standards and continuous
improvement. Ensuring the maintenance and project work is priced and submitted for approval to
