3. Study room Solar powered items They can use less energy. Computer and printers Turn off the computer when it is not being used. Don’t let the computer on standby mode. You can also turn off the printer when it is not in use.
4. Bedroom Thick curtains Buy thick curtains because we can use less energy to heat or cool the room. Duvet Use a duvet to keep you warm so you can use less heat during winter. Battery power toys Turn them off when the toys are not in use. Buy more solar powered toys because they can save more energy.
5. Living room Light bulb Turn off lights when it is daytime or when no one is in the room, and buy compact fluorescent lamps. TV Turn it off when it is not in use.
