I have worked in a variety of positions that have provided me with a wide range of skills. I have strong IT and administration skills
and excellent organisational and managerial skills. I have worked with a variety of people and children in education of different
ages, backgrounds and cultures and believe I have great communication and interpersonal skills.
I have excellent Management and leadership experience; I am an efficient and responsible leader and managed successful
campaigns and staff. This work has been across hospitality, education and events.

Assisting with the marketing, market research and evaluation of previous events. Promotion for the events with the client and
ensuring we have the correct clientele for the event.
Managing enquiries and bookings for the event and preparing relevant promotional material and information to be sent out. Day to
day administration, bookings, and produce orders, organizing transport, file management and organization.
Social Media updates and Photo and Video editing, producing flyers, brochures and promotional material including merchandise.
Liaise with clients planning the events and ensuring their requests can be met. Outlining a program for the event and making
preparations for this. Proposing new ideas to improve the event.

Faraway Bay – Cook and Tour Guide
Within my role as an event coordinator, I am also trained to work as a tour guide and chef at this resort, as it is a remote area,
serving a small number of clientele, with a maximum of 20 capacity. I am qualified with my Coxswains skippers’ ticket and
therefore lead Boat excursions and fishing trips to the King George falls and surrounding areas. I also lead 4 Wheel drive tours to
Rock Art sites and bush walking.
If I am not guiding, I work in the Kitchen alongside the owner who also shares the same duties and is a trained chef. I am
responsible for Breakfasts and Lunch services, Entrée’s that are served as canapés, the main course and dessert course.
I have to work to schedule for the amount of guests and also what preparation needs doing for larger groups and suiting dietary
requirements from vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.
Everything is homemade including, bread, pizzas, pasta, pastries and all canapés. In this role I have taken on the Menu planning,

Receiving and processing University applications and making offers to students who met the criteria. This involved highlighting
information, contacting applicants for further details and processing documents and offers on the University database, then

I worked as an event manager on campaigns representing a variety of brands at events and campaigns. This involved leading a
team, liaising with the event site and planers to ensure we have the correct access, materials and ability to deliver the brand.
Managing staff and delivering evaluation reports as well as documenting this with demographic figures and photos.
Greater Manchester Police – Role-play September 2008 – November 2012
I worked with the police as an actor, being given scenarios and scripts and required to conduct an interview for training purposes,
these were difficult subject young adult roles. The police would have to do this under examination being tested on their personal
conduct and interview skills.
Odd Theatre Company – Workshop Facilitator February 2010 – November 2012
This company works with vulnerable and excluded groups, from young offenders to work in prisons. The workshops they lead
provoke thought and opinions on the issues relevant to the group to create a positive and realistic outcome through drama and
performance work. I worked on various projects in community centres and prisons leading workshops on Victim awareness and
social skills improvement.
Blackjack Promotions – Talk to Frank Facilitator September 2008 – September 2012
Working in secondary schools with classes educating children on drug use and working with Drug Action team across the UK to
provide free confidential information. I led presentations on the services and key information points and facilitated students to use
3. the interactive equipment and lead them into debate, and sharing information confidentially. This provided them with informat ion
of the service FRANK offers.
Trafford council – Drama Facilitator September 2008 – November 2012
I ran a Saturday morning drama group for ages 11 – 14, I plan the sessions to suit the interests of the group and work towards
devised performances. I organised and promoted the events for the groups and was very successful.

I worked in 3 schools on a weekly basis, planning creative lessons around their curriculum topics. Lessons plans and feedback
were provided. I worked to build their capabilities within performing arts, their confidence and communication and listening skills.
This combined music, dance and drama. I also worked with a special needs class in one school for a year.

BA Hons Contemporary Theatre and Performance Manchester Metropolitan University 2001 – 2004
This degree involved working as part of an ensemble on substantial performance projects and to test out work in a
variety of national/international contexts. In our second year we raised money and devised a show and performed
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We were trained to and run a theatre company including Business and
accounting.
INTERESTS - I write, produce, direct and perform stage productions. I run my own theatre company 13Theatre,
writing, directing and perofrming, in which I coordinate everything from organising events and locations, marketing,
web design and promotion as well as the creative side.
