We like all girls was inspired by a young girl who
thought she couldnât be friends with someone because
of her size. We want to inspire women to wear what they
want and feel incredible in it.

SKELMERSDALE IS A TOWN IN WEST LANCASHIRE, WITH A POPULATION OF
38, 813 RECORDED IN 2006.THIS IS THE PLACE I CALL HOME. HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS,
AND MY HEART BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE RESIDING IN SKELMERSDALE. MY LITTLE SISTER, MY
BOYFRIEND, MY MOTHER, MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS AND EXTENDED FAMILY.
ALTHOUGH I CONSIDER SKELMERSDALE MY HOME, IâM HARDLY EVER THERE AS I CURRENTLY
WORK AND STUDY IN LONDON. IF IT WASNâT FOR THE PEOPLE I LOVE, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK.

IN JUST 11 MONTHS, THERE WAS 428 ACCOUNTS OF ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR IN SKELMERSDALE
ALONG WITH 158 ACCOUNTS OF CRIMINAL DAMAGE AND 109 RECORDED VIOLENT CRIMES. THE
TOWN HAS BECOME MORE INCREASINGLY ASSOCIATED WITH CRIME, DRUGS AND
GANGS AND THE SITUATION HAS WORSENED OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS.
THE MAJORITY OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS FEEL UNSAFE IN MOST AREAS OF THE TOWN, WITH GANGS
TAKING OVER MANY COMMON PLACES INTIMIDATING PASSERS BY..THERE IS A HUGE SHORTAGE OF
LIGHTING DUE TO CRIMINAL DAMAGE LEAVING RESIDENTS UNSECURE WHEN DARKNESS HITS.
THERE IS ALSO A LACK OF BUS SHELTERS, WASTE BINS, CIGARETTE BINGS AND DOG BINS DUE TO CRIMINAL
DAMAGE. THIS CREATES A MESSY EXTERIOR AND GIVES THE TOWN A BAD NAME, WHICH CAN ONLY HAVE
NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON LOCAL BUSINESSES.
