Ayurveda combines modern lifestyle and
health-conscious practises with ancient
understanding of using natural ingredients,
medications, and herbs to help us live a
healthy, happy, stress-free, and
disease-free life. Ayurveda's basic goal is to
restore individual equilibrium between mind,
body, and spirit.

4. THE CONCEPT OF CHILD HEALTH
IN AYURVEDA
Children health is very important, as it forms
the basis for a healthy adult. Child health in
Ayurveda is well defined. Out of the eight
branches of Ayurveda, ‘Kumarbhrtya’ branch
is dedicated to growth and development of a
child, child care, diseases of children and
their management. There are guidelines
given which talk about right diet, right
lifestyle and herbal remedies for kid’s health.
6. THE CONCEPT OF MENTAL HEALTH IN
AYURVEDA
Ayurveda, an ancient Indian medical
practise, takes a comprehensive approach
to mental health that considers the mind,
body, and spirit. In the Atharva Veda and
following treatises by Charak, Susrut, and
Vagbhata, Ayurveda is described as
mental health, covering the specifics of
origin, symptoms, diagnosis, and therapy
for ailments in humans and animals.
8. THE CONCEPT OF IMMUNITY CARE IN
AYURVEDA
Immunity is a concept explained in Ayurveda under
multiple topics. The most important ones are Bala or
the concept of strength, Vyadhi Kshamathwa or the
concept of resistance to illness development, and
Ojas or the concept of supreme resilience. The
concept of Bala explains the ability of the system to
repair and nourish itself and be effective in disease
prevention, whereas Vyadhi Kshamatwa is the
ability of the immune system to fight against the
disease-causing pathogens.
10. THE CONCEPT OF HAIR CARE IN AYURVEDA
In Ayurveda, a living body, all the ailments and
sufferings are due to the disharmony and
disequilibrium of the Doshas. Hence, the main aim
of Ayurvedic therapies is to treat disorders, prevent
disease and rebalance the body Dosha, Dhatu
(Tissue), Malas (Excretory waste), Mana (Mind) and
Gunas (Spiritual connection). Hair according to
Ayurveda is closely related to Asthi Dhatu (Bone
Tissue). Any product which increases Asthi Dhatu
will consequently help to improve the quality of hair.
