In charge of sales and general operations. I have grown my monthly personal
sales from an average $35,283 per month to $101,781 and increased store sales
from 1.8 million to 2.9 million per year, a 57.9% increase. I have had a greater
exposure to the bidding process as well as purchasing, negotiating, and sales.
Some things that I have enjoyed have been learning new areas of expertise,
reading plans, generating materials take offs, and becoming a key customer
point of contact for information and problem solving.

Managed my own branch with a lean productive staff of 6 increasing sales from
$1.4 to $1.8 million. Conducted Sherwin-Williams G.U.E.S.T. and Trademark
Service training including meetings with my staff and presentations to the Cal-
North District. Selected to be a trainer in Sherwin-Williams “Train the Trainer”
for both “Trademark Service” and “New Products.” In addition I was given the
title of Training Store Manager and brought four Management Trainees on
board. Sherwin-Williams Managers are given nearly full control of the store
with full access to all inclusive P&L reports. I attribute my success with this
position to customer relationships, teamwork, productivity and organization.

After successfully completing my Management Training I was placed in an
architectural coatings location that supported the extensive housing track
developments in the Sacramento, CA area. I helped open the location with the
Manager and District Manager gaining invaluable experience in a fast paced
high volume sales environment. I handled high value key accounts with tight
time constraints. I moved to the Auburn, CA location to gain experience in the
residential repaint and retail market. Here I expanded my product knowledge
and customer relationships while developing the skills required to move up to
Manager.

Graduated with a 3.01 GPA with three semesters on the College of Business

The Internship Program provided real world experience in a fast paced sales environment. This three month
program included training at the Sherwin-Williams training center with an end of term project for presentation
to the Cal-North District. I developed sales and customer relationship skills that moved me forward in my career.
MANAGEMENT TRAINEE/Enterprise Rent-A-Car
May 2002 – August 2002
This was a crash course in business operations exposing me to a large variety of customer types and the
importance of customer relationships. I was sent to a week-long training class and gained skills in selling and
add on sales. My summer internship concluded with a marketing event for an end of program project. I
completed the program and held a seminar function for current and prospective accounts.
