Responsible for leading procurement process for the organization, focusedexecutionof projects and process improvements.Lead implementation of
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) across the Organization.
Procurement:
▪ Lead, develop and execute procurement strategies and plans with measurable objectives based on the scope & impact.
▪ Lead negotiations to conclusion.
▪ Interact with cross functional teams to understand their requirements and also resolve any issues like non-availability of materials,
quality issues or supplier performance.
▪ Assess, define and resolve procurement issues including contractual terms and conditions and escalations by internal stakeholders
and suppliers.
▪ Locating and developing alternate sources of supply for goods and services, particularly for single source items to increase
competition and reduce the cost of goods / services purchased.
▪ Lead, mentor and coach junior and intermediate staff in procurement and purchasing functions.
▪ Perform market analysis and spend analysis leveraging all available data sources - accounting, purchasing, payment systems,
suppliers, market trends etc. to provide insight into opportunities for savings and efficiencies.
▪ Ensure all related governance processes/policies are adhered to and completed prior to final approval to ensure the acquisition is
done in the best interest of the company.
▪ Conducting debriefing meetings with unsuccessful bidders(vendors) as required.
▪ Periodic review of purchasing strategies and processes, projects, supplier performance as well as team and take corrective measures
accordingly for improving efficiency.
Vendor Management:
▪ Identifying & shortlisting prospective vendors for various categories of spend, thus effectively managing the demand & supply.
▪ Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendor(s) to ensure business priorities requirements are clearly understood and
met, and objectives are aligned.
▪ Identify and develop process-improvement strategies to generate efficiencies and maintain oversight of vendor performance;
including vendor performance management, reporting disciplines and remediation plans to address issues highlighted by the vendor.
▪ Identify, recommend, negotiate, implement and monitor contractual changes as required to ensure costs and services evolve to
match changing business needs and priorities.
▪ Develop RFPs, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) for strategic vendors.
▪ Facilitate vendor review meetings and hold fact-based, diplomatic and frank discussions with vendors regarding opportunities for
improvement.
▪ Work with internal legal and other teams to ensure vendor adherence and regular monitoring in relation to vendor risk and policy
compliance.
ERP Implementation:
▪ Lead ERP implementation across the organization, right from selection of suitable ERP vendors till implementing it across all
departments.
▪ Evaluate user’s business requirements, needs and objectives and transform same to company processes, solutions and modules
being implemented.
▪ Lead design activities defining requirements, testing and provide direction to users and junior consultants.
▪ Provide functional consulting for ENGG/ CONTRACT/PROCUREMENT/ HR/FINANCE Modules.
▪ Analyze and solve complex user issues related to data and processes.
▪ Review daily activity reporting against plans and schedules.
▪ Engage in project coordinating, team leading and implementing ERP functional consultation.
▪ Interact with implementation team, follow-up for resolutions, attend/conduct review meetings.
▪ Enhance and update knowledge on domain field practices and related technology.
