'What benefits and challenges could there be to
having a service based on community
development principles, for people diagnosed
with Bipolar Disorder?'
My name is John Kelly and I am a final year postgraduate student at NUI
Maynooth conducting research for my M.A. in Community & Youth Work.
My experience in the mental health services to date include that of a service
user, a volunteer with Aware and most recently on work placement in Gateway
mental health project.
I am presently approaching mental health support & interest groups throughout
Dublin, looking for people to participate in a focus group to explore the above
research question.
If you are a member of staff, a volunteer or a service user active within this
organisation and have also been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, you are
hereby invited to take part.
This focus group will take place in Dublin during the month of May 2011. Numbers will be limited.
