task are: Asset condition assessments,Work priorities, Risk assessment,Project Change Requests,consolidates
monthly project progress reports and present results to management and to portfolio management team.
Jul 2005 - Nov 2014 National Project Manager, Aids To Navigation Modernization and Refurbishment
As Project Manager, He ran up to three concurrent projects. He planned 5 year budgets,obtained approvalfrom TB,
coordinates yearly budgets for HQ and 5 regions. Controls Project Change Requests,consolidates monthly project
progress reports and present results to management and to portfolio management team and senior management.
To accomplish these projects, Mr Chartier used a team of Life cycle managers, regional Project Managers,
nationwide suppliers and efficient procurement officers.
These multi-years, multi-million dollar and geographically distributed projects required good discipline and
great communication skill.
IT systems were developed and/orintroduced for goods ordering and the entire life cycle tracking of these
goods.

Gaëtan has performed as a Technical Procurement Officer for the Coast Guard, handling chains and shackles, cast-
iron sinkers and buoy balls, synthetic mooring, self-contained LED Lanterns, batteries, photovoltaic panel and buoys
procurement. He gained experience dealing with Regional staff, headquarter, Public Works, other departments and
suppliers. He managed contractors in many different functions.
