Rolled out and trained new maintenance program (Fleet Focus/Compass M5) throughout
Southern Group that resulted in increased efficiencies by utilizing planning and scheduling,
tracking technicians time more effectively, identifying road calls, door traffic, driver abuse, and

pulled-in-time to save casing for recapping. Also assured re-torques were done on all tires
installed previous day to prevent wheel off incidents.
Designed a Shop Tune-up document to measure KPIs (Key Point Indicators) to identify shops
that required training due to not meeting company standards.

Set up parts rooms by VMRS Code, set min/max so usage reports could be run daily for
re-stocking. Returned parts to vendor that was not moving for last 9 months. Made sure
non-stock (special order parts) were installed within 14 days.
Aligned corporate approved vendors with each site and guidelines.
Trained on managing backlog, campaigns / TSBs and getting them done on time utilizing
vendors or in-house technicians. Met safety compliance per Original Equipment Manufacturer
and got repairs completed at no cost.
Trained warranty process for Create a Claim (in-house repair) to get money back spent on parts
and labor and Record a Claim (no cost outside repair) to show saved cost for no charge repairs.
Led Southern Group in rolling out THM (Total Hydraulic Maintenance) process that tracked how
we received, stored and tracked hydraulic oil usage.
Monitored maintenance on hurricane relief equipment in Emelle, AL, and Atlanta, GA. Made
sure everything from generators, light plants, camping trailers, tractors, trailers, supplies, and
man power was available and ready to go during a hurricane crisis.
Assisted in BP oil spill clean-up process. Moved 67 roll-off trucks and 500 containers along the
Gulf Coast spreading them out between 6 shops. Captured and tracked daily use of equipment
making sure preventive maintenance and routine repairs were done on time; this lasted for 1 year,
resulting in the company making $600K dollars a day.
