wide range of Hydac filter housings. With multiple filter
grades and configurations, Pall Red1000 filter elements are

Filter Media:	Inert inorganic fibres, bonded with epoxy resins.
Filter Hardware:	Corrosion protected carbon steel end caps and central core.
Fluid Compatibility:	Compatible with mineral and petroleum oils, water glycols, water-oil
emulsions and those synthetic fluids rated for use with fluorocarbon seals.
Operating
Temperature Range:	 -43°C to 107°C (-45°F to 225°F) with nitrile seals
		 -29°C to 120°C (-20°F to 250°F) with fluorocarbon seals
Collapse Rating:	10 bar (145 psid) minimum differential pressure for low strength elements.
		 210 bar (3045 psid) minimum differential pressure for high strength 		
		 elements.
		 Element performance validated per ISO 16889, ISO 2941, ISO 2943, 		
		 ISO 3724, ISO 2942, ISO 3968.
Red1000 Filter Elements Contribute to Energy Cost Savings
Red1000 filter elements exhibit much lower clean DP values than competitors, leading to significantly lower energy
consumption throughout the filter element’s service life. This is due to the lower amount of energy required to drive the fluid
flow through the filter element.

Pall Red1000 filter element
Area under P profile is a measure of the power [KW] required to “push” a fluid through the filter element, at a given flow
rate. A higher initial clean P will result in a substantial increase in energy consumption over the filter element’s service life.
The energy used over the service life of the filter element is determined as power multiplied by service hours [kWh]. This
energy can also be expressed in CO2 equivalent emissions (CO2e [g/kWh])
