CIPD 2011 – Survey of 2000 workers
Training Over 65: 51% received no training for 3 years – 32% across all ages
Appraisals Over 65: 47% received a formal appraisal – 62% across all ages
Physical ability 28% of older workers said it had declined a lot, 51% a little
Three quarters said their employer had made no adjustments
Physical health Over 65: 69% either good or very good health – 64% across all ages
Mental health Over 65: 91% either good or very good – 74% across all ages
