- 7. Project in Action Over a long distance⌠Cycling Without Age Long Rides.
- 9. This is not the everyday format of the project. From 15 mins to a couple of hours, volunteers take passengers as far away or as close to home as they want to venture.
- 10. Copenhagen philosophy of everyone being able to live the âGoodâ life Giving their senior citizens the same access to the surroundings that they enjoy.
- 15. First in the whole of the UK. CATCA is leading the way.
- 16. The story so far⌠June 2016 Trip to Copenhagen, met the founders, gained licence. July 2016 Trishaws purchased, Chapter established, Development Grant secured. August 2016 Trishaws arrived, test riding round local path networks, featured at several promotional event raising awareness of project. Established Pilot Training Programme and tested it out on future pilots. September 2016 Met and confirmed Avondale Care Group as the first partner care home for the project. Visited both Carrondale and Glenbervie sites. Met with some staff in Carrondale to show them the Trishaw and toured facility to look at options official launch event.
- 17. The story so far⌠September 2016 Continued test rides round the local area, more promotional events including Probus and Round Table talks. Secured insurance for the Trishaws and updated Public Liability cover. October 2016 Began creating promotional materials for Cycling Without Age Falkirk and initiated plans for Official Launch event. Attended Carrondale Relatives Meeting. Winter 2016 Complete training of pilots through Stages 1 and 2 of CWA Training Programme. Test rides from Care Home with some residents to run through logistics.

- 19. Where next? Spring 2017 Rides start in earnest, set up booking system and pilot training complete - have at least 5 fully trained pilots by February 27th March 2017 Official Launch Event of Cycling Without Age Falkirk - Attended by Copenhagen Founders, Government Officials, Partners etc.
