Engr. (Alhaji) Aliyu Labaran
Non-Executive Director
Aliyu Labaran holds a BSc in
building science from the Texas
Southern University in Houston and
is a member of the Nigerian Institute
of Building, as well as being a
registered building inspector with the
Southern Building Code Congress
International in the USA. He has had
a long career in public service and
held various positions, including
being the coordinator of the
technical team appointed by the
Secretary to the Government of the
Federation and the Officer in charge
of the Building Unit of the
Maintenance Division of the
Nigerian Presidency. He retired from
public service in 2015.
Gregor Heckelman
Managing Director
Mr Heckelmann holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from
the University Of Applied Sciences Of Wiesbaden in
Germany and was previously employed by Julius Berger in
Nigeria for over 14 years as an Architect, Site Manager and
Project Manager. He has been involved, as Architect and
Project Manager, in a number of high-profile, large-scale
construction projects in Nigeria, including the ECOWAS
parliament, the United Nations Headquarters and the Abuja
International Airport. Prior to moving to Nigeria, Mr
Heckelmann held a number of positions in the Engineering
Company MSEC in Tripoli, Libya. Mr. Heckelmann also
worked in the Engineering Company Dyckerhoff &
Widmann, at Stuttgard, Frankfurt a.M. and Mainz, etc as an
Architect and Project Manager.
Barrister Vivian Chukwuedozie-Nwosisi
Company Secretary & Legal Advisor
Barrister Nwosisi holds of Bachelor of Laws Degree and was
admitted to the Nigerian bar in 2002.
She is GW Schroeder's Company Secretary and Legal Adviser
and was previously a legal officer at Yahaya Mahmood and
Co., a Legal Counsel and Practice Manager at Adewole
Adebayo & Co. and a Legal Officer at Jude & George
Solicitors & Advocates.
Barrister Nwosisi is versed in Commercial and Cooperate law
and has attended many International law conferences. She is
also proficient in litigation practice.

Ralf Fietkau
Director: Civil Engineering
Mr Fietkau holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
specialising in soil construction, hydraulic engineering,
foundation engineering and soil mechanics from the
Technical University of Braunschweig. Before joining GW
Schroeder, he worked for Julius Berger in Nigeria and was
responsible for the civil works in relation to the erection of a
LNG plant in Port Harcourt, as well as project managing a
number of other projects, including road works and the
construction of bridges in Kano State. Mr Fietkau has also
worked on a long-list of civil projects in Berlin, Braunschweig,
Essen and elsewhere for a number of companies, including
Bilfinger + Berger, Hochtief and Wiemer & Trachte.
Dr Peter Vlahovic
Director: Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
Dr Vlahovic holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and,
amongst others projects, has worked under contract for Julius
Berger for around 25 years. He has designed and supervised
a number of WEP, HVAC, power generation, communications
and security systems and escalator and elevator projects
across Nigeria, most notably, these include Central Bank of
Nigeria administrative building, hospitals in Abuja, roads
and bridges in Lagos, the Abuja Airport, the Palms shopping
centre in Lagos, the Marriott Hotel in Lagos, the Abuja
conference centre and several hotel projects. Prior to moving
to Nigeria, Dr. Vlahovic was involved in a range of projects
across Germany, Spain and several other countries.
Ursula Kronemann-Fluhr
Director: Operations
Mrs Kronemann-Fluhr holds a degree in Civil Engineering
from the Technical University of Karlsruhe in Germany and
was previously employed by Julius Berger in Nigeria for seven
years between 2008 and 2015.
During this period she was involved in a number of high-
profile projects in Nigeria, including the supervision and
optimisation of production plants in Abuja, optimising and
controlling the consumption and work performance and
equipment and sites for the Systems Easy Fleet project, the
supervision of the railway construction site in Warri and
production plants in Lagos. Prior to Julius Berger in Nigeria,
Mrs Kronemann-Fluhr was involved in a range of projects in
Frankfurt a.M., Stuttgard, Mannheim, Hamburg and several
other German cities.
Harald Mielke
Director: Marine and Survey Engineering
and Environmental Services
Mr Mielke holds a Masters degree in Survey Engineering.
Before joining GW Schroeder as Director of Survey
Engineering, he was employed by Julius Berger in Abuja
where he was the Chief Surveyor and was involved in the
construction of the Central Bank of Nigeria towers, as well as
a host of other projects in the country.
He also worked on the EGTL Escravos Gas to Liquid project
for Chevron and as the Chief Surveyor and Planner for MSEC
in Benghazi in Libya, as well as for Ed Zublin in Singapore
and BB-Tahi Construction in Thailand.

Our Team
Jörg Lippert-Lenzu
Head: Equipment & Machinery
Jörg Lippert-Lenzu is an electrician with a long track record of
maintaining and managing machinery and equipment,
including aircraft, trucks, cars and hospital and healthcare
equipment.
Prior to joining GW Schroeder he was employed by Ziegel
Homberg to produce concepts for electrical installations, as
well as being responsible for planning, coordinating and
advising on installations.
Mr. Lippert-Lenzu was also previously employed by Vipharm
for the training of clinical personnel in their Oncology and
Haematology equipment usage.
Mr. Otto Koebele
Head: Carpentry and Formwork
Otto Koebele having obtained qualifying certificates from
Offenburg College of Draughtsmanship and Carpentry, and
subsequent practical experience, as a draughtsman and a
master carpenter and formwork systems expert.
He worked as a carpenter Supervisor in Philip Holzmann AG
from January 1988 to December 2002. From January 2003
to March 2004, he worked as a carpenter Supervisor at Peag
(Catch Hold Company). Mr. Koebele was the Carpenter and
Concrete Supervisor 1 tunnelling at Porr Technoban Munich.
He then worked for nine years in various roles as the
Supervisor Scaffolding, formwork, Concrete and Finishing
works, and manager of Carpentry Workshop with Julius
Berger International Plc, prior to joining GW Schroeder as
Head, Carpentry and Formworks.

Abuja, for Harlesden Engineering Limited. Starwood Hotels and Resorts will manage the hotel as
a 4-star Four Points by Sheraton property and, apart from guest rooms, the development will

GW Schroeder is undertaking the construction of in Abuja for
Corporate Ideals Properties Limited. The development is set on a beautifully shaped property
above the Swiss Embassy and overlooking Wuse II. It comprises three separate buildings and will
have a strong focus on leisure offerings, including a spa, fitness centre, pool and tennis court.
The hotel will have circa 270 rooms, extended stay hotel residences, a villa as well as a range of
restaurants, bars, cafes, conference and meeting rooms. This project is set on a site measuring
