This document outlines a project in Tehran, Iran to improve school safety and preparedness for disasters. The project has three main steps: 1) Training school staff and forming disaster management groups, 2) Assessing school risks and implementing risk reduction programs, and 3) Educating students and families about disaster preparedness. Over 1,000 schools will participate in training, risk assessment, and receive emergency equipment. The goal is to enhance urban resilience by preparing schools and students for disasters.

The Prepared School Project has implemented in 1000 primary/secondary
schools in Tehran in two Steps:
1- first step in 400 schools
2- second step in 600 schools
