The AOTRAUMA network aims to foster and expand a global network of healthcare professionals through education, research, development and clinical investigation to improve patient care worldwide. It is the largest clinical division of the AO Foundation, with over 7,800 members organized into five regional boards. AOTRAUMA prioritizes education through backwards-planned and competency-driven curricula. It also focuses on community development by communicating its portfolio, fostering knowledge exchange, and motivating active member involvement.
