Branding Help
Your guide to branding help.
 Be very clear with your Mission Statement, do not try
to over do it or be bland. Try to make it as concise and
to the point as possible.
Mission Statement
 When you begin to start making documents your
Brand needs to match up well with your Mission
Statement.
 Don’t have a Brand that conflicts your Mission
Statement.
Branding
 Once you decide on your Brand, stick with it and do
not change it unless you have too.
 Changing your Brand often will look very
unprofessional/unappealing.

 Once you begin creating documents that need to be
similar.
 The colors of the documents need to be close to the
same.
 Do NOT have different colors for each document.
Document Design
 Keep the type of language you use in your documents
the same.
 Preferably use “Plain English”
 Do not use language that the average person does
not understand.

 Use Visual Aids throughout the document.
 Add charts and pictures that allows the readers to
comprehend what is being said easier.
 Make sure to use aids that are to do with what you
are talking about and on topic.

 When finalizing your documents you need to go back
through the document and proofread it and find
errors.
 Also as you go through the document you need to
make sure it is in plain English.

 The completed document should be visually
appealing.
 It should also be in “Plain English” and be easily
understood.

 Remember to have a very clear mission statement.
 Your branding needs to match up well with your
mission statement.
 Come up with a brand and stick with it.
 Use “Plain English” and use visual aids.
 Proofread and check for errors.
 Finally make sure the final document is visually
appealing and is easily understood.
