Final figures for 2015 indicate that Spain’s exports of furniture have increased by +9.8%,
amounting to 1,857 million euros at the end of the year.
Rich in styles and ranges and with a unique emotional approach, Furniture from Spain has
consolidated its presence in biggest EU countries: France, Portugal, Germany and the
United Kingdom, which rank 1st to 4th among Spain’s major markets and concentrate 49.7%
of total exports.

3. With the exception of Portugal, exports have increased significantly in most of the top ten
importers. Among Spanish furniture's traditional markets, the outstanding results of France
(+8.1%), Germany (+21.9%) and Italy (+26.5%) suggest that the domestic consumptions
have considerably recovered in all these countries.
Significant increases have also been registered in exports to America: USA earned the 5th
position in the ranking, with imports of Spanish furniture growing by +54.8% to 82.9
million euros, while the Mexican market ranks now 10th, registering an important +6.3%
increase and totalling 50.2 million euros.
In North Africa and the Gulf Region, good results have been reported in Saudi Arabia
(+37.1%) and Morocco (+18.8%), which trust Spanish furniture companies for their high-
end residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
