Getting your learning platform off the ground and making it soar! Andrew Caffrey @MrCaffrey
The Streetly Academy • An oversubscribed 11-18 academy. • 1,300 students (9 Form Entry) • 520 PC’s in school, 200 Sixth Form Laptops, 110 staff laptops. • Frog – 1,200 users per day, 20,000 page views
Frog use varies… • Some staff (and therefore students) heavily engaged in the VLE. • Some great resources but not seen & used by all. • For some Frog seen as a tool for cover.
Results • 2012 Users • 82,000 Page Views • Continued use across half term and beyond. • 212 entries, top ten winning a day at Alton Towers.

  • 2. The Streetly Academy • An oversubscribed 11-18 academy. • 1,300 students (9 Form Entry) • 520 PC’s in school, 200 Sixth Form Laptops, 110 staff laptops. • Frog – 1,200 users per day, 20,000 page views
  • 3. Frog use varies… • Some staff (and therefore students) heavily engaged in the VLE. • Some great resources but not seen & used by all. • For some Frog seen as a tool for cover.
