Join Chuck Otte for this fun and informative bird walk once a month, weather
permitting, in and around the Milford Lake area. These hikes are for beginning
birdwatchers as well as those that have some experience. Bring binoculars and a bird
ID book if you have them. Everyone is invited! Please note that all dates are tentative
and subject to change. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Milford
Nature Center and Milford State Park.

– Dorothy Bramlage Library Storytimes - Parents and children, babies through
preschoolers, are invited to storytime at the library. Storytime is designed to foster
the love of books and reading, and encourage children on the path to becoming
great readers. Stories, songs, fingerplays, games, and crafts are centered around a
weekly theme.
• Wiggles & Giggles Baby Time- A time for parents and infants to interact. Each
child must be accompanied one-to-one by an adult. Registration is required.

• Mother Goose Toddler Time - Accompanied by parents or caregivers, this
storytime is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. Age:18-36 months
Time: Wednesdays at 10 am
• Preschool Story Time - For children without accompanying adults. Choose
one of three sessions each week. Age:3-5 years Time: Tuesdays at 10 am

• Evening Storytime- Families are invited to get ready for bed with this evening

camp are peer models while the other 1/3 are on the spectrum. This year they have a magic
theme.
– ANIMAL CRACKERS SUMMER CAMP -Sunset Zoo Animal Crackers Summer Camp is for kids
ages five to seven and must have completed Kindergarten. Camper activities will include live
animal interactions, themed tours of the zoo, crafts, games, and storytimes. Please contact
Sunset Zoo, 785-587-2737, should you have any difficulties during registration. FEES: $115
for full day, $85 for half day. Sunset Zoo Members: $105/$75. Appropriate fees calculated
during registration process.
– SUMMER SAFARI SUMMER CAMP- Sunset Zoo Summer Safari Summer Camp is for kids ages
eight and nine. We'll engage in activities around the Zoo, crafts, stories, live animal
interactions, themed Zoo tours, and take weekly field trips around Manhattan and beyond
