Reflecting on Jeana's career, Fred
Solop, department chair, commented,
"Jeana contributed so much to the
growth and development of the
department since the early 1990's. She knows the history of how policies
emerged over time and how to efficiently manage the university system.
We will all miss her dearly."
Over the last four years, Jeana worked directly with the department's
graduate programs. She organized the admissions process, funding
allocation process, student orientations, and managed the comprehensive
examination process. She worked with every graduate student to ensure
their success in department programs.
Kara Stone has taken on many of Jeana's responsibilities.

that meets at the intersection of public policy and commercial affairs. I'd
like to think that I acquired my foundation for this work during my early
