1. Why is the open self personality important ? How
do you become an open self personality?
• If I describe it in simple words then I can say “A
person who is aware of his personality and can
easily share everything with others is an open self
personality.”
• Technically, When a person knows all his abilities
& qualities and willing to share ideas, thoughts,
feelings and values with other that person is
called an OPEN SELF PERSONALITY.
Importance of OPEN SELF PERSOANLITY:
• Build relationships
• Become trustworthy
• Build overall personality
• Helps improving communication skills
• Gain confidence
• Gain attraction
• Clear about goal
• Helps in service sector
How do you become an open self
personality?
• Being an "open person" can mean many different
things, all of them positive. It's a term with no set
definition, but it generally includes some
combination of friendliness, approachability,
honesty, open-mindedness, tolerance, and
personal authenticity. Open people tend to be more
happy, charismatic, likable, and successful
compared to people who are "closed off." While
some people are open by nature, others can learn
to be more open with practice and a little
mindfulness.
2. List any 3 positive emotions and 3 negative emotions.
How can you use each to become more emotionally
intelligent?
1. 3 Positive Emotions :-
1. Happiness
2. Kindness
3. Confidence
2. 3 Negative Emotions :-
1. Anger
2. Sadness
3. Fear
3. What are the applications and results
of motivation?
• Everyone needs motivation in life because it
never fails to attain success and confidence.
• In fact, motivations are widely used therefore
it should operate for successful operations
and later do it for future growth.
• It has been used in several places such as
schools, universities, hospitals, and other
social welfare activities.
3. What are the applications and results
of motivation?
• The applications for the motivation are:-
1) saying importance
2) saying that that can do any thing
3) saying disadvantages if did not do
• The results for motivation are:-
1) they think they can do any thing
2) they can work hard for their work
3) this will have the maximum chances to reason the goal
because the self confidence was increased
4.. List any 3 persons in your life who are most empathy oriented
towards you. State what is it that they do for you that makes you
like them.
1. Father:
My father, the most ideal person in my life, who loves
me the most and do all things for me.
2. Mother:
My mother, my inspiration of my life who, with whom I
share my joys and sorrows.
3. Brother:
My brother, my half joy and sorrow partner, with whom I
share my confidential talk and takes care of mine.
5. Which leadership function do you think is
most important and justify your choice.
•Motivation
5. Which leadership function do you think is
most important and justify your choice.
• Motivating someone, inspiring them,
and fostering enthusiasm for projects
is one of the most important
leadership qualities and a key to
success because only motivated
persons are good persons.
6. What are the 10 steps of goal
setting and achievements?
1. Belief.
2. Visualize what you want.
3. Get it Down!
4. Purpose.
5. Commit.
6. Stay Focused.
7. Plan of Action.
8. No Time like the Present.
9. Accountability.
10.Review.
7. What are the patterns of communication?
Give example for each.
• Examples of types of
communication
• Wheel communication network
The wheel network, a two-level hierarchy, is the most
structured and centralized of the patterns because each
member can communicate with only one other person. For
example, a superintendent of schools and those who are his
immediate subordinates (assistant superintendent for
business, instruction, personnel, and assistant to the
superintendent), probably form a wheel network. The
superintendent is A, and his assistant superintendents are B,
C, D, and E, respectively. The four subordinates send
information to the superintendent, and the superintendent
sends that information back to them, usually in the form of
decisions.
• Examples of types of
communication
• Chain communication network
The chain network ranks next highest in centralization. Only two
people communicate with one another, and they in turn have
only one person to whom they communicate. Information is
generally sent through such a network in relay fashion. A
typical chain network would be one in which a teacher (B)
reports to the department head (C), who in turn reports to the
principal (A), who reports to the superintendent (D). Another
example is the grapevine through which information passes
throughout a school building or district between different
departments and organizational levels.
• Examples of types of
communication
• Y communication network
The Y network is similar to the chain except that two
members fall outside the chain. In the Y network, for
example, members A and B can send information to C,
but they can receive information from no one. C and D
can exchange information; E can receive information
from D but cannot send any information. For example,
two assistant principals, (A and B) report to the principal
(C). The principal, in turn, reports to the assistant
superintendent (D), who reports to the superintendent
(E).
• Examples of types of
communication
• Circle communication network
The circle network, a three-level hierarchy, is very different from
the wheel, chain, and Y networks. It is symbolic of horizontal
and decentralized communication. The circle gives every
member equal communication opportunities. Each member
can communicate with persons to their right and left.
Members have identical restrictions, but the circle is a less
restricted condition than the wheel, chain, or Y networks. For
example, the circle network has more two-way channels open
for problem solving (i.e., five) than the four channels of the
aforementioned networks. In the circle network, everyone
becomes a decision maker.
• Examples of types of
communication
• Network communication
The all-channel network is an extension of the circle
network. By connecting everyone in the circle network,
the result is a star, or all-channel network. The star
network permits each member to communicate freely
with all other persons(decentralized communication).
The star network has no central position, and no
communication restrictions are placed on any member. A
committee in which no member either formally or
informally assumes a leadership position is a good
example of a star network.
8. What are Ego states? Which Ego state do
you operate most often?
• The Ego States are an important aspect
of transactional analysis that talks about
how a person feels, behave or think at any
point of time.
8. What are Ego states? Which Ego state do
you operate most often?
• I mostly operate Adult Ego State.
• The adult ego shows the logical thinking and
reasoning ability of an individual. The person
behaving or interacting with adult ego seeks all
the information properly, validate it using his
reasoning skills and then provide it to the other
people. The person possessing the adult ego
can be judged through his discussions and the
way he thinks about a situation before arriving at
the conclusion.
9. Does your “personality” need
improvement? Why?
• Yes. My personality need improvement
because, I’m not so able to talk English
perfectly, and my communication power is
so strong.
10. How can you motivate people?
Give example.
• Tell people exactly what you want them to do.
1.Limit the amount of time or effort that you’re
asking for.
2.Share in the sacrifice.
3.Appeal to their emotions.
4.Give people multiple reasons for doing what
you want them to do.
• For example:
• You’re more forgiving of your own
mistakes, and more focused on learning
and improving.
• Making mistakes is part of the learning
process, and you know that with each
mistake you make, you have learned a
lesson.
11. What are the blocks to efficient time
management? How will you overcome them?
• Not planning anythingNot planning anything: Decide on what resources
you'd want to use and how much time it'll take to use
them and arrange them.
• Planning in headPlanning in head: Write shit down in calendar (hard
copy), since we tend to forget what's often unclear.
• Mobile phonesMobile phones: Keep it 20 feet away, invisible to you. It
really works.
• Random ThoughtsRandom Thoughts: Work out, or meditate, or be
passionate about your subject
• PeoplePeople: Say NO. Just do it.
12. what are three factors essential for
leadership to function effectively?
• Establish Trust and Demonstrate Integrity
• Display authenticity and honesty in behavior

• Safeguard sensitive information
12. what are three factors essential for
leadership to function effectively?
• Set Clear Direction
• Ensure clarity, simplicity and consistency in setting

• Enable individuals to see how their efforts directly
relate to Kemps objectives
• Deploy the right people to the best opportunities
• Eliminate low payoff efforts
• Provide consistent, clear and compelling oral and
written communication
• Involve and engage others appropriately and
effectively in setting direction
12. what are three factors essential for
leadership to function effectively?
• Grow Relationships
• Actively listen and inquire for understanding of the issue and
person
• Consistently demonstrate genuine respect and value for
others
• See people as individuals rather than resources
• Take the initiative to clarify misunderstandings and repair
damaged relationships
• Demonstrate value for constructive dissent and differing
points of view
• Seek opportunities to build cross-functional relationships and
networks
• Encourage open communication and inclusion in
decisions/planning
13. Explain the Ladder of Inference
with example.
• Have you ever been accused of "putting 2 and 2
together and making 5", meaning that the other
person thinks you have jumped to the wrong
conclusion?
• In today's fast-moving world, we are always under
pressure to act now, rather than spend time
reasoning things through and thinking about the true
facts. Not only can this lead us to a wrong
conclusion, but it can also cause conflict with other
people, who may have drawn quite different
conclusions on the same matter.
13. Explain the Ladder of Inference
with example.
• Especially in a fast business environment, you need to
make sure your actions and decisions are founded on
reality. Similarly, when you accept or challenge other
people's conclusions, you need be confident that their
reasoning, and yours, is firmly based on the true facts.
• The "Ladder of Inference" helps you achieve this.
Sometimes known as the "Process of Abstraction", this
tool helps you understand the thinking steps that can
lead you to jump to wrong conclusions, and so helps you
get back to hard reality and facts.
• Example of the Ladder of Inference.
14. which of the five team life cycle
stages occurs after storming?
• This process of learning to work together effectively
is known as team development. Research has
shown that teams go through definitive stages
during development. Bruce Tuckman, an
educational psychologist, identified a five-stage
development process that most teams follow to
become high performing. He called the stages:
forming, storming, norming, performing, and
adjourning. Team progress through the stages is
shown in the following diagram.
14. which of the five team life cycle
stages occurs after storming?
15. How your Inter personal skills will help you
to achieve your goal ?
• Developing leadership traits
• Planning and goal setting
• Public speaking
• Problem solving and conflict resolution
• Mastering the art of negotiation
• 16. What sort of moral values you are lacking
and how you can develop the same ?
• Moral values change as per the needs of
society. But the human nature has not change
for generations. That is why it looks as moral
values are lacking these days. Moral values are
important for those persons who are honest,
believe in ethics, punctual. But gradually such
type of peoples are decreasing day by day
because the entire system is changing by
corruption, not following the rules and
regulations of the country.
16. What sort of moral values you are lacking and
how you can develop the same ?
1. I will try to improve my will-power through
this we can achieve anything. Where
there is will there is a way. I will try not to
lose confidence in any situation.
2. Being more useful to others. By doing
social service.

It's a term with no set definition, but it generally includes some combination of friendliness, approachability, honesty, open-mindedness, tolerance, and personal authenticity. Open people tend to be more happy, charismatic, likable, and successful compared to people who are "closed off." • 13. 7. What are the patterns of communication? Give example for each.
  • 14. • Examples of types of communication • Wheel communication network The wheel network, a two-level hierarchy, is the most structured and centralized of the patterns because each member can communicate with only one other person. For example, a superintendent of schools and those who are his immediate subordinates (assistant superintendent for business, instruction, personnel, and assistant to the superintendent), probably form a wheel network. The superintendent is A, and his assistant superintendents are B, C, D, and E, respectively. The four subordinates send information to the superintendent, and the superintendent sends that information back to them, usually in the form of decisions.
  • 15. • Examples of types of communication • Chain communication network The chain network ranks next highest in centralization. Only two people communicate with one another, and they in turn have only one person to whom they communicate. Information is generally sent through such a network in relay fashion. A typical chain network would be one in which a teacher (B) reports to the department head (C), who in turn reports to the principal (A), who reports to the superintendent (D). Another example is the grapevine through which information passes throughout a school building or district between different departments and organizational levels.
  • 16. • Examples of types of communication • Y communication network The Y network is similar to the chain except that two members fall outside the chain. In the Y network, for example, members A and B can send information to C, but they can receive information from no one. C and D can exchange information; E can receive information from D but cannot send any information. For example, two assistant principals, (A and B) report to the principal (C). The principal, in turn, reports to the assistant superintendent (D), who reports to the superintendent (E).
  • 17. • Examples of types of communication • Circle communication network The circle network, a three-level hierarchy, is very different from the wheel, chain, and Y networks. It is symbolic of horizontal and decentralized communication. The circle gives every member equal communication opportunities. Each member can communicate with persons to their right and left. Members have identical restrictions, but the circle is a less restricted condition than the wheel, chain, or Y networks. For example, the circle network has more two-way channels open for problem solving (i.e., five) than the four channels of the aforementioned networks. In the circle network, everyone becomes a decision maker.
  • 18. • Examples of types of communication • Network communication The all-channel network is an extension of the circle network. By connecting everyone in the circle network, the result is a star, or all-channel network. The star network permits each member to communicate freely with all other persons(decentralized communication). The star network has no central position, and no communication restrictions are placed on any member. A committee in which no member either formally or informally assumes a leadership position is a good example of a star network.
  • 19. 8. What are Ego states? Which Ego state do you operate most often? • The Ego States are an important aspect of transactional analysis that talks about how a person feels, behave or think at any point of time.
  • 20. 8. What are Ego states? Which Ego state do you operate most often? • I mostly operate Adult Ego State. • The adult ego shows the logical thinking and reasoning ability of an individual. The person behaving or interacting with adult ego seeks all the information properly, validate it using his reasoning skills and then provide it to the other people. The person possessing the adult ego can be judged through his discussions and the way he thinks about a situation before arriving at the conclusion.
  • 21. 9. Does your “personality” need improvement? Why? • Yes. My personality need improvement because, I’m not so able to talk English perfectly, and my communication power is so strong.
  • 22. 10. How can you motivate people? Give example. • Tell people exactly what you want them to do. 1.Limit the amount of time or effort that you’re asking for. 2.Share in the sacrifice. 3.Appeal to their emotions. 4.Give people multiple reasons for doing what you want them to do.
  • 23. • For example: • You’re more forgiving of your own mistakes, and more focused on learning and improving. • Making mistakes is part of the learning process, and you know that with each mistake you make, you have learned a lesson.
  • 24. 11. What are the blocks to efficient time management? How will you overcome them? • Not planning anythingNot planning anything: Decide on what resources you'd want to use and how much time it'll take to use them and arrange them. • Planning in headPlanning in head: Write shit down in calendar (hard copy), since we tend to forget what's often unclear. • Mobile phonesMobile phones: Keep it 20 feet away, invisible to you. It really works. • Random ThoughtsRandom Thoughts: Work out, or meditate, or be passionate about your subject • PeoplePeople: Say NO. Just do it.

  • 28. 13. Explain the Ladder of Inference with example. • Have you ever been accused of "putting 2 and 2 together and making 5", meaning that the other person thinks you have jumped to the wrong conclusion? • In today's fast-moving world, we are always under pressure to act now, rather than spend time reasoning things through and thinking about the true facts. Not only can this lead us to a wrong conclusion, but it can also cause conflict with other people, who may have drawn quite different conclusions on the same matter.
  • 29. 13. Explain the Ladder of Inference with example. • Especially in a fast business environment, you need to make sure your actions and decisions are founded on reality. Similarly, when you accept or challenge other people's conclusions, you need be confident that their reasoning, and yours, is firmly based on the true facts. • The "Ladder of Inference" helps you achieve this. Sometimes known as the "Process of Abstraction", this tool helps you understand the thinking steps that can lead you to jump to wrong conclusions, and so helps you get back to hard reality and facts.
  • 30. • Example of the Ladder of Inference.
  • 31. 14. which of the five team life cycle stages occurs after storming? • This process of learning to work together effectively is known as team development. Research has shown that teams go through definitive stages during development. Bruce Tuckman, an educational psychologist, identified a five-stage development process that most teams follow to become high performing. He called the stages: forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning. Team progress through the stages is shown in the following diagram.

That is why it looks as moral values are lacking these days. Moral values are important for those persons who are honest, believe in ethics, punctual. But gradually such type of peoples are decreasing day by day because the entire system is changing by corruption, not following the rules and regulations of the country.
  • 35. 16. What sort of moral values you are lacking and how you can develop the same ? 1. I will try to improve my will-power through this we can achieve anything. Where there is will there is a way. I will try not to lose confidence in any situation. 2. Being more useful to others. By doing social service.
