FORT DRUM NEW YORK Key Facts about Ebola Virus Disease (EVD)
•EVD is preventable
•Transmitted from person to person by direct contact
•Only people who are sick with EVD (i.e. have symptoms), or who have recently died from Ebola, can transmit the virus to others
•There are currently no licensed vaccines or specific treatments for EVD
•EVD is not spread through drinking water, eating approved food, or being bitten by insects like mosquitoes or ticks

Outdoor Recreation and Department of Public Works has partnered to establish a new facility which better supports the installation RV/Boat storage. The new site will be graded with gravel, enhanced Physical Security, and new gate with key-less entry issued at Outdoor Recreation. Expected completion is late November 2014.
